Having already employed Ant and his team to refurbish a modern flat in Bath, and being extremely impressed with the results, we decided to ask them to quote for a much bigger and more complex project: extending and adapting a 170 year old stone built cottage and converting a separate garage into a self contained annexe. Ant was able to help from the outset, by putting us in touch with his father’s firm of chartered surveyors for the drawings and planning, which was a huge benefit. There were a few technical challenges along the way (not least the weather!) but always dealt with constructively and with the team’s trademark consideration and good humour. The results could not have been better! The quality of the stonework in particular..... the old and the new blend seamlessly. It was very important to us to retain the charm and character of the original building and that has certainly been achieved. I believe one of our close neighbours is currently working up a similar, but bigger project with Ant’s team, which must be the best kind of recommendation!
