I have a Husqvarna 555 which apparently has no offerings for felling dogs. Next to ordering custom, this was the best option. The 562 and 555 have the same crankcase’s pre-tapped holes for the dogs, so the inner one went on easy. However, the 555’s clutch cover is smaller and in general completely different in it’s dimensions to the 562. In the end it turned out well despite there being zero compatibility on the clutch side. Just make sure the dog is parallel to the inner (this is the hardest part), mark and drill your holes, clear away material on the inside so you can have the nut captive, and make a shim (I used a washer dremmeled down to a wedge) for the upper part of the bracket since it will need some support. If you are trying to do the same, good luck, and I hope the pictures and notes shed a little light on how to go about it.
