The rafter span joiners and end cap joints are dead-give-away’s to the vinyl construction. Vinyl can easily be formed in lengths long enough to make the span, so this appears to be a design to accommodate easier shipping and not aesthetics. The end caps should have joiners similar to the internal ones used as spacers around the 4 x 4 posts….these are barely noticeable. Instead they are a loose fitting over the rafter slip on. The manufacturer should also provide enough PVC glue to complete the job. The two small squeeze tubes were only about 1/10th the amount required to finish. All that being said, we knew the joints would show and are not unhappy with the final result….just noting how easy it would be to make it so much better. Thanks,
