CO2 Diffuser Stainless Steel 25cm for Planted Aquarium & Replacement Ceramic Plate

The CO2 diffuser that came with the CO2 generator (one of the popular Citric Acid / Sodium Bicarb CO2 Generators) was a cheap plastic device with a mid to small ceramic diffuser. The “Clscea CO2 Diffuser Stainless Steel 25cm for Planted Aquarium & Replacement Ceramic Plate” is a much higher quality diffuser and I was happy to replace the cheap plastic one that came with the CO2 generator. However, I am STILL trying to decide if I like the look of Stainless Steel in my Nano Aquascaped tank. At least the cheap plastic one was a clear ‘see-through’ device that somewhat “disappeared” in the tank whereas the Ciscea is Stainless Steel “in your face” and isn’t going to disappear in my little Nano tank. But for now….I’ll live with it. It DID come with a built-in check valve which is VERY important….AND…..AND…..it came with a replacement ceramic diffuser. Over time, one should really replace the ceramic diffuser as they plug up with …gook…and may crack or leak CO2, etc etc. OR SO I HAVE READ. It’s never happened to me because I just started getting into these Citric Acid / Sodium Bicarb CO2 generators. So I’ve never replaced the actual ceramic diffuser but I BELIEVE that they DO need replacing….otherwise….why would Ciscea INCLUDE a replacement ceramic diffuser? Just sayin’…..anyway….the Ciscea CO2 Diffuser is a worthwhile quality purchase I’m just not sure I’m going to leave stainless steel in my Nano.
