1/4 inch Plastic Adjustable Tube Float Valve Kit for Aquarium Water purifiers , Auto Water Filler Controller Auto-top-Off System, RO Water Reverse Osmosis System (1 Float 5 Connect)

I’m using these float valves to top up a humidifier tank directly from my RODI water filter. Overall they work exceptionally well. They come with all the parts that almost any installation will require, and once set up, they work very well. I have 2 criticisms that would make major improvements in my opinion.1) The plastic parts that need to be manipulated to adjust the float position feel very tight, and unlike other float valves, the joint is friction fit instead of having a screw to loosen/tighten. This probably is not a big deal, but I was very hesitant to adjust it at first as I was concerned that I was going to break it. So far, so good. So I think that my concern was unnessisary. Still, the more typical threaded joint would be preferable.2) The clamp for positioning the float over the edge of a bucket or reservoir is just a little bit too small. I had to fully remove the clamp post to get it over the rim of my tank, and then it only just barely made it back in to clamp down due to the clearances. This will not be an issue for a tank with an exceptionally small rim, but anything of the more typical dimensions will be tight. I made it work, but if the clamp was just a fraction of an inch deeper, this would resolve the issue entirely.I would definitely buy this again, but there can be small improvements to make it a fantastic product.
